Large global employer is looking for the following solution engineer candidate:
As a Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibility is to become a strategic partner with your customers by establishing relationships with key stakeholders throughout their organization to help them solve business challenges with communication solutions.
You will identify, develop, architect and document comprehensive technical solutions.
You will continue to provide customer advocacy beyond the initial sale to ensure solutions are properly realized and lifecycle services and future needs are mapped out so down stream business requirements are effectively met and maximum value is drawn from the customer investment.
Qualifications:
Solutions Engineers must have a minimum of five years in IP Communications design and implementation with a strong background in real-time communications over IP.
As our solution promotes seamless interoperability in multi-vendor environments, a thorough understanding of Microsoft, Cisco, and other industry leading eco-systems is a must.
Industry certifications such as MCSE, CCIE, CCDP, CCISP are desired.
Excellent written and verbal communications are required to develop and present solutions and strategies at all levels of the customer organization to include CxO's.
A proven track record in solutions selling to major enterprise customers is critical.
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience

Solutions Engineers are strong technology generalists who can speak with authority on a broad range of technology topics. Successful Solutions Engineers have a working knowledge of the following areas but are also subject matter experts in Complex IP Architecture and Network Design to include:
IP telephony design and engineering
Unified messaging
Unified communications architecture
Communications enables business processes
Business value chain and work flow analysis
SOA
Security
Network security
Identity, security, and access management
Secure real-time communications
Information security and compliance
IP video solutions
Wireless and fixed mobile communications
Microsoft infrastructure
Unix administration (Linux preferred)
Network and systems management
Customer Engagement Skills:
Experience developing statements of work, project plans, and customer proposals and presentations
Experienced in presenting to multiple levels within an organization, from highly technical to executive audiences
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
Team collaboration and leadership experience
