Please mark your calendar, the Tenth Megaconference be held on Friday morning November 7th 2008 (AEST). http://digitalunion.osu.edu/megaconference/

The Megaconference is the world's largest video conference and all parties with H.323 or compatible video communication equipment is invited to participate.
Videoconferencing is inherently an interactive medium, and to encourage that, we are using the term "interactions" rather than "presentations" to describe these parts of the Megaconference. Because this is the 10th Megaconference, some very special things will happen then that have not occurred in previous Megaconferences, such as showing clips from Megaconference I, awards for people who have been in all 10 events, descriptions of how the Megaconference event started, how technology has improved , etc.

The theme of the Megaconference is “Breaking Down the Barriers: Global Connections”.

Each interaction is 15 minutes long. Preference will be given to presentations with more than one presenter (in different locations) and presentation time selection preference will be given to those submitted earliest. The final deadline for proposal submission is September 12, 2008, 5:00 p.m. EDT. Each proposal is required to be interactive, involving at least a total of two locations.
