Microsoft xbox 360 pricecuts?

Hey guys, I just bought a xbox 360 pro, and like 1 day later ms announced a price cut for 360 elite. I am so mad I feel like I just threw away my money. Has any1 else experienced my pain? And I'm 11 and at my age it's pretty hard to make 300$. Thank you and is there anyway I could exchange it for elite?

lol i feel your pain. ive paid $60 for MANY games only to go back to the game store and see it is about half what i paid for it. its not the best feeling lol.
well the only way you would be able to exchange it is if its unopened. at best buy(where i work) if an electronic like the 360 is open than you are not able to bring it back unless you can prove it was defective when you opened it. dont know where you bought it but thats our policy :P
i would say just cut your losses for now, because other than the extra harddrive space and a hdmi cable, theres not much your missing out on(unless you like a black xbox 360 more lol) and i believe it comes with a 60gb harddrive instead of 120gb with the elite. and trust me, 60gb is more than enough. and to be honest i never used the hdmi but once :P not that big of a difference in my opinion.
i think tho that they should tell you at the desk if there will be a price cut the next day instead of you getting screwed over lol
