My experience is that our customers are more and more looking for a single source vendor that can give them the flexibility to get the communications they want at any time. Being able to schedule your own conferences using a web-based tool but leave all the logistics to the managed service provider customer support team.
One platform - one provider for:
[*] Visual communication
[*] Audio conferencing
[*] Web Conferencing
[*] Streaming
[*] Event management
Next to that we see that different verticals are developint their own applications:
Healthcare, Telemedicine is the practice of using videoconferencing technologies to diagnose illness and provide medical treatment over a distance.
Education, Distance learning systems, incorporating audio, video, and webconferencing, have become highly valuable tools in the delivery of training and education.
Legal, Collaboration technologies are making their way into the law office and court room. For example, recorded videoconferences can be used for depositions.
As a managed service provider you should be prepared for these customer requirements.
